This salad is great to serve as a starter at a dinner party!

Ingredients:
200g green beans
6 figs, cut in half
1 red onion
125g (1 packet) mozzarella cheese or feta cheese, cut in half
50g almonds or hazelnuts, cut in half
Handful of basil leaves
Knob of butter
3 tbsp of balsamic vinegar & extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp of fig jam
Method: Number of Servings 4 / Prep Time 15 Minutes – Cook Time 5 Minutes
1. In a large frying pan melt the butter and then fry the green beans until they are cooked, usually about 3 – 5 minutes.
2. Place the green beans on serving’s plates and then top with figs, red onion, cheese, nuts and basil.
3. In a small container with a lid add the vinegar, olive oil, jam and sake well. Drizzle this over your salad before serving.
