Can someone recommend sweetener to bake with that is diabetic friendly and wont raise sugar levels. I’m using Asda’s own brand but wonder if there is something better? Susan

Thank you for your question. If you have V14 of our Diabetes Handbook we discuss sweeteners in detail on page 106-7. If you don`t have this then there are a few options, but it does come down to taste and application most of the time.
1) For baking you can use the natural sweetener Stevia which is stable at high temperatures. It is about 200-300 times sweeter than sugar so bear this in mind.
