A simple chicken pie, the perfect winter food!

Ingredients:
750g chicken breast, large chunks
2 tsp of chicken seasoning
1 tsp of mixed herbs
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
50g peas
1 large carrot, chopped into rounds
1 large onion, sliced
320g of puff pastry (we used ready rolled)
15g chicken gravy granules
200ml chicken stock (we use 1 Knorr stock pot)
Method: Number of Servings 6 / Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 40 minutes

1. Begin by adding a little oil to your frying pan and add your chicken, season with, chicken seasoning, mixed herbs.
2. Once the chicken has turned white, add the chopped onion, carrot, and garlic.
3. Leave to continue frying for around 10 minutes.
4. Your onions and carrots should now be soft, shred your chicken using two forks.
5. Add your chicken stock, peas, and gravy granules and leave to cook on a lower heat for another 20 minutes.
6. Remove from the heat and add all your ingredients into an oven proof dish allow to cool and add your puff pastry, glazing with a little brush of milk.
7. Cook in the oven at 200C for around 20 minutes or until your pastry has turned golden.
8. Serve with your choice of vegetables or mash potato, add salt & pepper if required.
