A delicious, quick to make meal – the basil makes this dish very tasty.

1. Preheat Grill – once up to temperature grill the bacon rashers until cooked
2. Preheat a frying pan to a medium heat and add a little oil or butter
3. Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves, chop the basil leaves roughly, and cut crouton squares from some bread or baguette
4. Add the tomatoes, basil and croutons to the heated frying pan and season with a little salt and pepper – turning occasionally. After a few minutes, they should be getting a little browned and this is when they are ready
5. Wash the lettuce and dry – add onto a plate
6. Add the grilled bacon and fried foods on top of the lettuce
7. Grate the parmesan cheese over the top of the plate – and voila!
