Primary Care Diabetes Society
Today is the start of the 17th National Conference of the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS).
PCDS is an annual conference for healthcare professionals taking place virtually on 18-19 November 2021. It champions clinical quality in diabetes. It is focused on a range of topics that are most relevant to the practicalities of managing diabetes in primary care today.
And it’s good news for X-PERT Health. Our poster has been nominated for the Roger Gadsby award. ‘Remote X-PERT structured diabetes education, through an App or delivered using video conferencing software’. This demonstrates a good example of a diabetes primary care audit. If successful we will receive a £500 prize.
It just goes to show that hard works pays off. At the heart of our mission and values is widening access to our award-winning diabetes education. We believe everyone should have access to quality diabetes care, support and education.
