Diabetes Singapore are now offering their patients X-PERT programmes to gain a better understanding of diabetes and manage blood glucose levels effectively.
We are delighted that both of our organisations see the benefits of education as a vital component in the prevention and management of diabetes – and a crucial investment in healthy living.
Singapore is expected to have up to one million individuals living with type 2 diabetes by 2050. In addition, the rise of obesity is a considerable concern. Approximately one-third of all stroke patients have diabetes, and 2 in 3 cases of kidney failure are due to diabetes.
Diabetes Singapore is a registered charity who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Their range of services include screenings to monitor diabetes-related chronic conditions and complications.
X-PERT Health’s programmes are ideal for people who are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes or living with prediabetes, have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and anyone overweight or obese. Over 300,000 patients have been educated on our courses.
