Management of Diabetes: A National Clinical Guideline

Scottish guidelines acknowledge X-PERT Health

Author: Lisa Graham/22 January 2018/Categories: Uncategorized,

The Scottish guidelines for the management of diabetes were updated in November 2017, and now recognise that a variety of different dietary approaches can be successful for managing weight and improving blood glucose control. The options included in this report  are calorie restriction, reduced fat intake, and reduced consumption of carbohydrates (see page 22). They also acknowledge that X-PERT Health improves health and is more cost-effective than other structured education programmes (page 12).
